William Jackson Hamilton Sr.

William Jackson Hamilton Sr., U.S. Air Force Veteran, age 85, of Williamsburg, Ohio, passed away on Friday February 5, 2026 in Batavia, OH.

He was born on October 27, 1940 in Indianapolis, IN, son of George Lee and Elise Mae Hamilton.

William worked as a Auto Mechanic then worked at Trintex. Bill's free time was spent playing golf and fishing but for adventure it was taking cruises.

He was the past Commander for the American Legion Post #288 of Williamsburg, Ohio.

Bill was a loving father to Kathy (Chris) Weinstock, William (Tonya nee Butts) Hamilton Jr., Norman (the late Jodi nee Zia) Hamilton and Ron ( Tammy) Hamilton.

Beloved grandfather to Emma, Brandon, Tyler, Cheyenne, Chandler, Rodney, Cody, Daphne and Kelly. Great- grandpa to 5. And a great-great grandpa to 1.

Services will be held at Maham Funeral Home, 187 North Second Street Williamsburg, Ohio 45176 ,Tuesday February 10, 2026 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Shawn Crisman from Hospice 360 Care officiating.

Visitation will be from 12:00 NOON until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Williamsburg Cemetery, Williamsburg, Ohio.
