Peggy Hughes

Peggy Hughes, 72, of Williamsburg, Ohio, passed away on June 5, 2026 at in Batavia, OH.

She was born December 17, 1953 in Georgetown, Ohio, daughter to Eddie and Betty Hughes.

Peggy worked as a Manager for JC Penney/ Meijer.

She the beloved mother to Ashley Morris of Mount Orab, loving grandmother to Layne Hite,

Aunt to Stephanie (Jody) Sutton and great Aunt to Alexis Sutton, Brady Sutton and Brooklyn Hancock.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents Eddie and Betty Hughes, sisters Patty (Darren) Wilson, Connie ( the late Dave) Hancock and nephew Brian Hancock .

Services will be held at Maham Funeral Home, 187 North Second Street , Williamsburg, Ohio 45176

June 11, 2026 at 1:00 pm with officiating Pastor Jack Horton. Friends will be received from 11:00 Am until time of Service 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home

Interment will follow in the Mt Orab Cemetery, Mount Orab, Ohio.
