Margaret Sue Hembree

August 30, 1934 — September 20, 2024

It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Sue Hembree (nee Parsons) announce her passing on September 20, 2024, at age 90.  She is survived by her Love of 33 years, John Paul Gregory and their beloved English Springer Spaniel, Shelly.

Cherished and Devoted Mother of Son, Houston Hembree Jr. (Sheila), and Daughter Betty Hembree and Special Son-In-Law Tony Hatfield.  Loving Grandmother of Brandon Hembree, Jon Hatfield (Amy) and Jessey Hatfield (Rachel).

Beloved Great Grandmother of Alexus “Lexi” Hembree.  Survived also by her brother Paul Allen Parsons and Sisters-In-Law Peggy Parsons, Pat Parsons and Dorothy Hembree.  Preceded in death by her parents Verna and Delmer Parsons, Brothers James Parsons, Jack Parsons (Edith), Jerry Lane Parsons and her beloved only sister, Betty Parsons Sturgill (Carl) and also her husband of 34 years, Houston Hembree Sr.  She loved her many nieces, nephews and cousins that were very dear to her, Cathie Sturgill Davidson, James Kelly Parsons, Diane Hood, Jack Parsons, EJ Parsons (LaDonna), Kevin Parsons (Tanya), Precious Lane Parsons, Virginia Braden, Angie White and Andrew Hembree. Danny, Debbie, Sharon Kay and Jimmy Parsons. The late Richard Duane Turner, Michia Marie Hembree and Krystle Davidson.  She adored her ”Special Girls and Fella’s” that she fondly referred to often as her “kids” Becky Gifford, Kristy Fishback, Joyce Conover, Tammy Dick, Lera Cossens, Jennifer Hall, Jim Myers and Rodney List.  She had a special place in her heart for Melissa and Al Fleckinger, Amanda and Boston Edgar, Tammy and Larry, Joyce, Bruce, Frank and Francis Lynch, Charlotte and Dana Lynch, George and Bobbie Dillon, Betty, Sherry, Mary Bell and all the Gregory Family and her beloved caregiver, Ann.  Cherished and Beloved Nana to all her precious grandkitties and granddoggies.  Funeral Services will be held at Maham’s Funeral Home, 187 N. Second Street, Williamsburg, Ohio 45176 on Monday, September 23, 2024. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon with the Funeral Service starting at 12 Noon. Burial to immediately follow at the Williamsburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations may be made to the Shriners Childrens Ohio Hospital.
