Jaqueline Carlene Simcox

Jacqueline Carlene (Harbottle) Simcox, born on February 24, 1941, raised in Williamsburg, Ohio and resided in Bethel, Ohio passed Thursday morning, April 17,2025 at the age of 84, at the Glen Health Care Center surrounded by her family. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 61 1/2 years, Richard " Bruce" Simcox and a host of family and friends who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Mabel Isabella (Malott) and Leonard Harbottle Sr. along with her seven siblings: Dorothy, Junior, George, Alice, Virginia, Robert and Arthur. She enjoyed camping, gardening, reading, knitting and watching hummingbirds. Per her request, there will be no service. A private burial will be at a later date. Carlene and Bruce had no children of their own, but their lives were very full and always surrounded by family and friends whom they loved dearly and also loved to spoil. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: St. Jude Children's Reseach Hospital or Queen City Hospice.
