Gary Lee Hardin

Gary Lee Hardin, 83, of Williamsburg, Ohio, passed away on August 9, 2026, in Williamsburg, OH.

He was born May 14, 1943, in Los Angeles, CA, son of Jessie and Hazel nee Purcell Hardin.

Gary provided for his family as an Over the Road truck Driver, in his free time he enjoyed anything to do with fishing,

listening to his scanner and tinkering around in his man cave.

Gary served 4 years in the Air Force, retired as 1ST Sergeant from the Army National Guard where he was a member of Company C 216th Engineer Battalion based out of Felicity, OH. Gary had received numerous awards and was also a 13-year member of Post 288 in Williamsburg. Gary also retied from Hazmat Environmental Group Inc., in Newtown, OH

Surviving are his daughters, Amy, Brenda, Lanee and Lanette, stepchildren Tammy, Lisa and Bryan.

Grandchildren are Chandra, Lanie, Stella, Aubry, Jordan, Blake, Devon, Trenton, Jimmy, Wyatt and Rustina

and 11 great-grandchildren. Gray is a brother to Linda and Ron. Gary cherished his friendship with the late Gary Boyd,

and his family Dean, Liza Boyd and Lynn.

Gary was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Cathy I. Hardin, his parents and a brother Larry Hardin

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
