Elster Varney Jr.

Elster Varney Jr, age 90, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022, beloved husband of the late Willa Varney (nee Mercer), loving father of Ena (Dan) Hickey and preceded in death by his sons Pearl Varney and Gary Varney, he leaves his daughter-in-law's Judy King Varney and Patty Varney, cherished grandfather of Joe, Tim, Ted, April, David, Nikki, D.J., Bill and preceded in death by his granddaughter Sally, he is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.  Services will be held at the Maham Funeral Home, 187 North Second Street, Williamsburg, Ohio on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at 1:00pm.  Visitation will be from 11:00am until the time of service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the Williamsburg First Presbyterian Church, 199 Gay Street, Williamsburg, Ohio 45176.
