Douglas William Srofe

December 12, 1961 — March 27, 2026

Douglas William Srofe entered Heaven's gates on March 27, 2026. He was a 64-year-old resident of Williamsburg, Ohio. Doug was born on December 12, 1961, on Bolling Air Force Base in Washington DC in Maryland.

He loved God greatly in this life; and welcomed into paradise with Jesus, our Lord and Savior for ever and ever.

Doug was an amazing Friend, Brother, Uncle, Husband and Christian, he was an extraordinary man with a big heart in all of our lives. His kindness touched everyone he met.

He was always there - whether to lend a helping hand, share a laugh, or lend a shoulder to lean on. He was the kind of person who lived with a full heart—devoted to his family, loyal to his friends, dedicated to his work, and passionate about the things he loved. His courage in the face of challenges was truly inspiring, teaching us all faith in God's love and to be to help others. He never hesitated to stand up for what was right or to offer support to those in need. He proudly served our country as a National Guardsman for 17 years.

Though his time with us was cut short, the impact his life will last forever. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched and the memories we hold dear. He was a great man, loved by so many. We will miss you, Douglas, but we are grateful for the time we had with you. Your spirit will forever guide us.

He is survived by the love of his life, Kathy Richter- Srofe, sisters, Donna Kadilis, Patricia Marron, Kathryn Hamer, Wendy Key, brother Daryl Srofe, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Douglas is preceded in death by his parents: Clement D. Srofe, Josephine Williamson, and brother Donald Srofe.
