Dana James Kissinger, 68 of Williamsburg went to be with the Lord on December 11, 2015 after a 13 month battle with GBM (brain cancer). Beloved son of the late Bradford James and the late Mildred Elizabeth. He is survived by his loving wife Gayle Elizabeth (Schloss), his adoring daughters Sherri Elizabeth and Kristin Lynn and his beloved dog Dixie. Dana is also survived by his best friend of over 50 years, Donald Scott. Dana was born on July 6th, 1947 in Mariemont. He graduated from Williamsburg High School in 1966 and then proudly served his country in the United States Army. He married Gayle Elizabeth Schloss in 1970. He worked for Duke Energy for 42 years. Dana was a member of the American Legion, Post 288, Harmony Hill Association and was very active in the Williamsburg community. His family wishes in lieu of flowers that a donation be made to the Jeffrey M. Henderson Scholarship Fund (contact Kevin Dunn at Wmsburg Elementary School) or the Harmony Hill Association (contact Julia Hess). Services will be held at the Williamsburg United Methodist Church, 330 Gay Street, Williamsburg, Ohio on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 11am. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5 to 8pm at the church.
