Bonnie Abdon

Bonnie Sutton Abdon, age 80 of Batavia, Ohio passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family. Bonnie was born November 28, 1944 in Georgetown, Ohio the daughter of the late Frank and Leola Fulton. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Caryl June (Fulton) Carrington and brother-in-law Frankie Carrington.

Bonnie was the Administrator for Clear Mountain Community Church in Batavia, Ohio for 33 years where she proudly and faithfully served the church congregation. Bonnie loved her family, friends, church, music, traveling, poetry, painting, reading, animals, flowers and most importantly her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Bonnie is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years Gregory Abdon of Batavia, Ohio, two sons Sean (Terri) Jones of Florence, Kentucky and Scott (Dona) Jones of Merritt Island, Florida; two grandsons Scott Jones Jr. of Riverview, Florida, Chad Harvell of Gainesville, Georgia; three granddaughters Alison Jones and Abigail Jones both of Florence, Kentucky, Kristen Jones of Lynnwood, Washington, great granddaughter River Chambers of Riverview, Florida, Sister-in-Law Connie (Bob) Karrick, numerous nieces, nephews and many great friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. The Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 AM, Thursday March 6, 2025 at Clear Mountain Community Church, 4050 Tollgate Road, Batavia Ohio 45103, Pastor Mark Otten will officiate.

The burial will be held at the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio immediately following the service. The Maham Funeral Home in Williamsburg, Ohio is serving the family.
