Billie Jo Ewan (nee Harris), age 92, Batavia, Ohio, died peacefully on

September 23, 2024. She is preceded in death by her husband, William

Ewan. Loving mother of Stephen (Kimberly) Ewan, Cincinnati, Ohio.

Grandmother of Nicholas (Megan) Ewan.

Billie Jo Ewan was born in Three Points, Harlan County, Kentucky. Billie

worked as a telephone operator at Western Union (AT&T), downtown

Cincinnati, Ohio.

The immediate family called her Billie “Go”. Billie drove her car on the back

roads until age 91. She would pick up her son and head to watch horse

racing. Billie loved to read books and sing Patsy Cline songs.

Preceded in death by Louie Harris (father), Elva Harris (mother), sisters:

Juanita Thompson, Geneva Brown, Barbara Crider, Peggy Fox, and brother

John (Tommy) Harris.

Billie Jo Ewan is survived by her brothers Louie Sonny (Fran) Harris,

Lawrence Shelby Harris and her sister Brenda (Steven) Mozes.

At her request, Billie Jo will be with her husband, in the Florida National

Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Billie Jo’s memory to Hospice of

Cincinnati.
