Betty Jane Mclean

MCLEAN, Betty Jane (nee Grether) age 84 passed away on June 10, 2016, beloved wife of John M. McLean, devoted mother of Ian A. McLean, dear mother-in-law of Rebecca McLean, loving foster mother of Kelly Ann Perry and Stephanie Perry, loving grandmother of Andrew McLean, Caleb McLean, Jacob K. Perry and Noah D. Skye Perry and also survived by many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. Betty dearly loved her family. In her younger years, Betty left her hometown of Williamsburg, Ohio for New York City where she was a travel agent for American Express. She met her “sweety pie” husband, John M. McLean, on a Mediterranean Cruise. They shared 49 wonderful years together. One of Betty’s biggest joys in life was raising her son, Ian. She was also an avid Red’s Baseball and Bengal’s Football fan and a proud Republican. Visitation Services will be held at the Williamsburg Methodist Church, 330 Gay Street, Williamsburg, Ohio on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 9:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. at the church.
