Anita Mae Vaughn

Anita M. Vaughn passed away at the age of 63 in her home in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 8, 2026.She was the daughter of Edith Hilbert and the late Robert Lukemire. Anita was the loving and devoted wife of Fred Vaughn who knows she is the best person he ever met and saved and forever changed his life.

 It is impossible to fully express the love that Anita showed to her family, friends and the countless others she met throughout her life. She was not only a blessing to her family and friends, but also positively impacted hundreds of children during her 35 years as an elementary school teacher. 

In addition to her father, Robert Lukemire, Anita was preceded in death by her brother Scott Hilbert.

 Anita will be deeply missed by her parents; step-parents Larry Hilbert and Kay Lukemire ;siblings Terri Jeffers, Mike Lukemire, Patti Buchanan, John Hilbert, and their spouses; children Erika Stockman and Nathan Ball; grandchildren Michael Day, Maddox Day and Isaac Stockman; numerous nieces and nephew; faithful and devoted friends Janet Armstrong and Brenda Fisher who loved Anita like a sister.

 Anita Vaughn lived, laughed and loved with all of her heart and soul. She exited this life, leaving the world a little better place than she entered it.

Services will be held at Maham Funeral Home, 187 N. Second St. Williamsburg, Ohio 45176 Monday, April 13, 2026, at 12:00 P:M with Pastor Dare Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Williamsburg Cemetery, Williamsburg, Ohio. Friends will be received at Maham Funeral Home Monday, April 13,.2026 10:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 P:M.
