Angela Renee Guard

Angela Renee Guard, AIR FORCE GULF WAR VET. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Angela " Angel" Renee Guard on April 21, 2025, at the age of 56. Angel was born on April 18, 1969, to Loren and Linda (Reed) Guard. She grew up in a small town called Bright, Indiana and attended East Central High School. After graduating high school, Angel enlisted in the Air Force where she proudly served our country for 9 years and was distinguished as a sharpshooter. Angel's pride and joy was her only son, Ian. As a single mother with Multiple Sclerosis, she worked hard to support the two of them and spend as much time together as possible. She had a fierce love of animals, especially dogs and welcomed cats, birds, a rat, a ferret, a lizard, fish and a hamster into her home. She loved crafts, scrapbooking, making jewelry for friends and any kind of chocolate. Angel never met a stranger and loved to cut up and laugh. Although she will be temporarily missed by all, we celebrate her release from pain and struggle and rejoice in her being welcomed into the kingdom of heaven and the presence of Jesus. She is a loving mother to Ian Kain, cherished daughter to Linda (Charles) Hall, sister to Doug Guard and Tony (Sharon) Guard, as well as nephews and several nieces who all loved her dearly.  She was preceded in death by her father Loren Guard and sister-in-law Tracee Guard. Visitation and services will be held at Maham Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 29th, located at 187 North Second St. Williamsburg, OH 45176. Visitation will be from 5:30 -7:00 PM with services directly following. Burial with Military Honors will be held Thursday 11:00 AM May 1, 2025, request family only at the Williamsburg Cemetery 824 Gay Street Williamsburg, Ohio 45176.
