Amanda Renee Durisek

October 17, 1989 — March 22, 2025

Amanda Renee Durisek (born October 17, 1989) died suddenly on March 22,2025 at the age of 35. She is the daughter of Marion (Kennedy) Durisek and John Durisek. Amanda graduated from Stevenson High School Utica, Michigan in 2008. She then went on to Macomb Community College and graduated with an Associate's Degree of Applied Science Creative Imaging and Illustration in 2015.  Amanda was a very talented person, she played in Marching Band and Jazz Band in High School. She was an accomplished piano player, and also played trumpet, flute and guitar. She enjoyed a wide range of music from spiritual to jazz, country and rock. Additionally, Amanda was an Equestrian, riding Saddle Seat, English and Western and member of the County 4H club. She moved from Michigan to Williamsburg, Ohio in 2022 and already was making many friends in the area. People who knew Amanda would comment about her caring, enthusiastic, humorous nature, always willing to share a laugh. Her favorite times were traveling in our camper, having a cozy campfire at night, exploring nature and fishing with her father. Amanda also completed a first flight flying class at the Sporty's Clermont County Airport and was hoping to continue flying. Additionally, she opened up a web page of her artwork entitled, "Creative Spirit Design Studio ". She will be greatly missed by many family members. Her Aunt Dawn (Kennedy) Brandenburg and Uncle Chris Brandenburg.  Aunt Peggy (Kennedy) Schmitz and Uncle Fred Schmitz.  Aunt Dawn (Durisek) McKeever and Uncle Doug McKeever. Her loving cousins Erica (Brandenburg) Henderson, Matthew Brandenburg. Angie (Schmitz) Smith, Julie (Schmitz) Jaap and Brian Schmitz.  Doug McKeever. Susie (McKeever) Davis.  She is preceded in death by the passing of her Grandparent's Richard Kennedy and Jean (Brightbill) Kennedy and her Grandparent's Al Durisek and Joan (McKlveen) Durisek and Uncle Paul Durisek. Additionally, her emotional support dog Cody. May she rest in peace knowing how much she was loved by many.  Service will be held at the Maham Funeral Home 187 North Second Street, Williamsburg, Ohio on Friday April 4, 2025, at NOON. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Williamsburg Cemetery.
